In a bustling neighborhood of Askari IV, amidst the daily hustle and bustle, lies a sanctuary of knowledge and community spirit – the Askari IV Library. What started as a simple idea among residents has evolved into a beacon of inspiration, thanks to the unwavering dedication of individuals like Mr. Rana Hafiz, Agha Sahab, Maj General Imtinan Babar, and Lt Col Tauheed (Retd) ADH Askari IV. The journey of the library began in a humble guard’s room, where Agha Sahab’s generous donation of basic furniture and books from his personal collection laid the foundation for something remarkable. It was a small gesture with monumental implications, sparking a chain reaction of goodwill and community involvement.

This seed of an idea soon caught the attention of Maj General Imtinan Babar, DG Housing Directorate, who recognized its potential and spearheaded the transformation of the space into a proper library building. The building stands as an architectural marvel, its facade inviting and welcoming to all who pass by. His vision and leadership were instrumental in realizing the dream of a dedicated space for learning and exploration within the community.

Lt Col Tauheed (Retd) ADH Askari IV emerged as a driving force behind the project, channeling his efforts and resources to bring the state-of-the-art landmark to fruition. His commitment to the cause played a pivotal role in shaping the library into what it is today – a cornerstone of the community.
